Collinsville is a small town in the southwestern corner of Grayson County, Texas, within the Sherman–Denison metropolitan area of North Texas. The town sits along U.S. Route 377, about 18 miles southwest of Sherman, the county seat, and roughly seven miles south of Whitesboro, placing it in a region of farmland and rolling countryside between the larger cities of the Red River corridor and the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex beyond.
