Possum Kingdom Lake, popularly known as P.K., is a reservoir on the Brazos River in North Texas, located primarily in Palo Pinto County with its shoreline extending into Stephens, Jack, and Young counties. It sits about 90 miles northwest of Fort Worth and has been a defining feature of the region since the mid-20th century.
